SERVICE AREAS SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS PETSITTING $18.50 per standard visit to most zip codes within Colorado Springs, Black Forest and Falcon. This is a flat rate up to 5 pets. $20.00 per standard visit for zip codes 80908 & 80106. This is a flat rate up to 5 pets. $23.50 per standard visit for zip codes 80904, 80905, 80906, 80911 & 80925. This is a flat rate up to 5 pets. An additional $5 per visit will be added to homes with 6 or more pets. An additional $5 per visit will be added to homes with horses. Horse care is basic care only. Grain, Hay & Water. The rates above are per visit rates. For example, one visit per day to your home would be $18.50 per day, two visits per day to your home would be $37 per day and so on. MEET & GREET:
Before service may begin, we require a new client orientation. This visit is free of charge and is done in your home to meet pets, obtain important information and for us to become familiar with the environment. From there we collect keys and schedule any upcoming visits.
KEYS:
Our policy requires two sets of keys at all times. Keys will be collected at our meet and greet. Please be prepared. Keys will only be returned if Fur to Feathers will no longer be providing service for you in the future or unless requested. If you require keys to be picked up and returned for each service provided, there will be a $5 fee for each pick up and return and it will be done at our convenience.
OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:
Each pet-sitting visit is 20-30 minutes long and includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Lots and lots of love and attention
2. Provide food and fresh water in a clean bowl at each feeding time
3. Administer medications (no shots)
4. Potty breaks, fresh air, exercise and dog walking
5. Clean out litter box and/or change cage paper/bedding
6. Change out potty pads
7. Clean up for accidents and hairballs
8. Brushing
9. Turn on/off radio or TV (Animal Planet) per your request
10. Bring in mail, newspapers and packages
11. Water house plants
12. Rotate lights and/or drapes for security purposes and provide basic security checks.
13. Take out or bring in garbage cans.
14. Leave a courtesy note and the end of each trip to inform you of how the visit went and of any important information.
DOG WALKS
Dog walks are 25-30 minute visits. We will provide walks, potty breaks, and playtime during these visits. We will also refresh water and can feed and give treats.
POTTY BREAKS
Potty break visits are a shortened variation of the dog walk. Potty break visits are 10-15 minutes long and are designed as an affordable way to let your dog get outside for a potty break either through a short walk or romp in the backyard.
POOP SCOOPING SERVICE
Poop scooping is provided as a weekly service. Time duration depends on the number of dogs.
